Sweeping Sidewalks and Street Gutters in Halfway

Description: Sweep all sidewalks in described areas including gutters by making piles of debris between storm drains for easier pick-up by city staff. Areas include Main Street from the High School to Halfway Feed and Seed; W. Bell Street from Main to lower school parking lot; W. Record Street from Main to Center Street, and E. Record Street from Main to McMullen Slew.

Youth Group: Middle School through High School

Time Frame: As soon as snow has melted (late March - April)

Halfway Lions Club Park Cleanup

Description: Rake and clean up grounds from leaves, branches, and other debris. Power wash sides of buildings and walkways. Some weeding may be involved. Clean up play area from cones or other debris.

Youth Group: Middle School through High School

Time Frame: March through April

Description: Sweep all sidewalks in described areas including gutters by making piles of debris between storm drains for easier pick up by city staff. Area is located between Moody Road (at the Fire Station) through downtown to the city water tower.

Youth Group: Middle School through High School

Time Frame: March-April

Raking Leaves at the Lions Park

Description: Rake fallen leaves in the Lions park onto traps, load trailer for hauling off leaves.

Time Span: End of October/Early November

Youth Group: Elementary only
